SWITCH UP YOUR LIPSTICK
Don’t get stuck in a beauty rut. A fun and simple way to shake things up is to get a new lip color. Some great lip shades to try this season include coral, pink, orange, and berry.

DON’T FORGET THE SPF
Just because you’re not hitting the beach doesn’t mean you should skimp on the sunblock. Our skin is exposed to ultraviolet rays January to December, come rain or shine. You don’t need to load up on the goopy stuff, though. Choose a sunscreen that slips under moisturizer and foundation, or opt for a SPF-enriched liquid foundation (say Organic Wear’s Natural Origin Liquid Foundation With SPF 15) or moisturizer (Juice Beauty’s Green Apple SPF 15 Moisturizer).

DARE TO BARE
Let your epidermis breathe by taking a day-long “makeup vacation” every now and then. Wash your face in the morning, apply a natural moisturizer, and spritz on some rose water (splash out on Duchess Marden’s Pure Rose Water or make your own). Your skin will thank you for the break!
