Finding cruelty-free and ethical cosmetics and household items is even easier now, thanks to Leaping Bunny’s new mobile app and extensive website relaunch. Kicked off with a PSA by actress Amy Smart, Leaping Bunny’s new app features free tools that gives consumers access to 650 cruelty-free companies. Now it is even easier to shop for cruelty-free cosmetics, household and personal care items, with information right at your fingertips.

Leaping Bunny was created in 1996 by the Coalition for Consumer Information on Cosmetics, as a certification system that lets consumers rest easy that the products bearing its seal are 100% cruelty-free. Since then, the program has grown, and with modern technology is launching full-force to let consumers make informed decisions when buying cosmetics and personal care products.

Amy Smart’s video will act as the catalyst for the exciting new step, with an informative and engaging introduction to Leaping Bunny’s mission.

In conjunction with the video is the mobile Cruelty-Free app, which translates Leaping Bunny’s pocketguide, Compassionate Shopping Guide, to a digital, and easily loadable, format.

In addition to the app, Leaping Bunny’s website has relaunched, packed with easily navigable information for consumers, as well as a submission program for companies to get their products Leaping Bunny Certified.
