Whoever said you had to be cruel to be kind obviously hasn’t met actress-turned-author Alicia Silverstone. Silverstone, a vocal vegan advocate, has designed a second line of planet-friendly—and did we mention affordable?—cosmetics bags and brushes for EcoTools, a Illinois purveyor of beauty accessories. Launching this spring, the sophomore EcoTools by Alicia Silverstone collection will feature a “gorgeous new look, revised shapes, and revamped favorites,” along with illustrations of Silverstone’s favorite flowers.

THE KIND LIFE

Clad in a palette of lavender and mint green, the bags present a blend of embroidery and sumptuous prints in both hemp and recycled PET. “After the success of the first launch, I am so proud to partner with EcoTools for another collection of beautiful and eco-conscious cosmetics bags,” Silverstone says. “Together, we demonstrate it’s never been easier to get gorgeous while giving back to the earth.”

The second EcoTools by Alicia Silverstone collection will launch this spring.

In addition to a retooled Cosmetics Bag ($8.99), Train Case ($14.99), and six-piece Brush Set and Bag ($14.99) from the previous collection, the new lineup includes three new styles. A compact Deluxe Pencil Case ($7.99) offers a removable interior case, three interior storage pockets, and room for five EcoTools brushes, while the tri-fold Hanging Valet ($15.99) fastens to your bathroom door to conserve counter space.

A four-piece Backstage Vanity Brush Set ($12.99), comprising a Finishing Brush, an Angled Eyeshadow Brush, and a Lash and Brow Groomer, features materials such as bamboo, recycled plastic, steel, soybean oil, and crushed walnuts.

Kind to be kind? That’s a mantra we can get down with.
