Elizabeth McMullenElizabeth is a New York City-based freelance writer/editor who has written on topics as diverse as the history of opium to the best organic chocolates and perfumes around.

After receiving degrees in creative writing from Bennington and in fashion design from Parsons, Elizabeth began her media career at Visionaire and has worked for Mademoiselle, Vogue, and an academic publisher in Santa Barbara. She was also a longtime contributing editor to Sprig, a green lifestyle website by Washington Post Digital. She continues to writes about fashion, beauty, and home, including recipes and home entertaining for BlackBook online, and is currently having fun making over her studio in a Hollywood Regency style.

Elizabeth is also working on several novels and short stories, and looks forward to dabbling again in design.
