Jeff Garner, Prophetik

Jeff Garner, ProphetikEight years ago, Jeff launched Prophetik in the small American town of Franklin in the southern state of Tennessee. A sustainable men’s and womenswear label, Prophetik is focused on environmentally friendly materials including organic cotton, hemp, flax, Greenspun (recycled bottles) and organic pigment dyed, GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) certified fabrics.

Starting his career in the music industry, Jeff went on to acting, then moved into fashion, where he is credited with dressing some of America’s most prized entertainers: Cameron Diaz, Rihanna, Sheryl Crow, Miley Cyrus, Taylor Swift, Kings of Leon, and the Jonas Brothers.

Aside from managing and designing for his own label, green megastore Whole Foods appointed Jeff as a consultant within their apparel buying division, and Griffin Technology contracted Jeff to design the first biodegradable carrying case for the iPhone as part of their eco-soft-goods development.

A graduate of Malibu, California’s Pepperdine University, Jeff has always been interested in fashion and the ongoing progress of the sustainable side of the industry. Prior to rooting Prophetik in his hometown, he enjoyed personal mentorships with both Calvin Klein in Malibu and Swedish designer, J Lindeberg; moving on to co-design with Convoy, an all-sustainable label out of Orange County, California.
