Bazsarózsa wants you to slip into something more comfortable and mean it. The New York City-based label offers a line of undergarments that exude sex appeal without complex scaffolding. Constructed locally from organic cotton, each panty, camisole, and bra features clean lines, neutral colors, and sportswear-inspired details. “I feel that a woman is at her best—and her sexiest—when she is confident and comfortable,”  Enikö Bázsa, the company’s founder, tells Ecouterre. “You can be in jeans and a T-shirt and still feel like you are wearing something special underneath.”

THE NEW SEXY

Bazsarózsa’s underpinnings are refreshingly underwire-free. Beyond the occasional scalloped edge, ruching, or mesh cutout, frills are also kept to a minimum—all the better to show the body off, of course. “I’m interested in creating designs that celebrate the female form naturally,” Bázsa says.

But don’t confuse basic with boring. Bázsa adds visual interest with unexpected details like brass eyelets and body-harness-like straps. It’s her designs that draw most first-time customers, after all. (The sustainable story behind them is a bonus.) Bázsa saw a need and filled it. “I hated not being able to find foxy things that were also comfortable,” she explains. Thanks to Bazsarózsa, you’ll never have to feel the same.
