Double your pleasure? TOMS’s latest shoe is so nice, it gives back twice. A collaboration with FEED Projects, the FEED 12 alpargata doesn’t just provide a new pair of shoes for a child in need, it also tackles world hunger by funding 12 school meals. At least 66 million children across the developing world attend classes on an empty stomach because of natural disaster, conflict, poverty, or poor agricultural infrastructure, according to the United Nations World Food Programme. Besides being painful and distracting, chronic hunger can also weaken cognitive functions or impair them permanently.

TOMS x FEED

The vegan-friendly shoe features natural burlap construction and a letterpress print. A limited-edition web exclusive, it’s available in both women’s and toddler sizes—perfect for “Mommy and Me” samesies. “TOMS’s ongoing commitment to improving the lives of children made this partnership with FEED Projects a natural fit,” the shoemaker says. “With your help, we’re giving more children a better chance at being healthy and educated.”

I am looking for a pair of Toms, Feed 12 women’s shoes in a size 9. I purchased a pair a couple years ago and they are wearing out. Do you know of a retailer that might still have some of these?

Thank you for any assistance you might offer.
