Kick your wardrobe up a notch with Beyond Skin's Spring/Summer 2012 collection, which offers a range of cruelty-free stacked pumps, strappy espadrilles, and T-bar wedges that ooze retro-inspired sex appeal. For inspiration, Brighton-based designer Natalie Dean mined the '60s and '70s, creating an explosion of metallic animal prints, woven raffia chevrons, Hawaiian florals, and va-va-voom brights for channeling your inner beatnik vagabond.

Dean’s material of choice is Dinamica, a suede-like microfiber derived from 100 percent post-consumer recycled plastic bottles. In fact, Beyond Skin is the first U.K. footwear label to embrace the Italian-made textile, which is currently used by brands like Jaguar, Range Rover, and Mercedes Benz in their automotive interiors.
