Borrow Designer Dresses for Less at Rent the Runway

Rent the Runway, designer rental, dress rental, clothing rental, eco-fashion, sustainable fashion

Why buy when you can borrow? The latest in the “It’s like Netflix for fill-in-the-blank” playbook, Rent the Runway is doing for designer dresses what Bag, Borrow, or Steal did for designer totes. For $50-$200 for four days—or about a tenth of what full retail would cost you—you can snag frocks from bold-face names like Badgley Mischka, Diane von Furstenberg, Hervé Leger, and Proenza Schouler. Bonus: When you order a dress from a designer for the first time, you can rent a second, backup size for free.
