THE REAL DEAL

You Can’t Fake Fashion is a joint initiative by the CFDA and eBay to raise awareness about counterfeit goods by celebrating original design.

You Can’t Fake Fashion is an effort to raise awareness about counterfeit goods by celebrating original design.

“The CFDA works to protect designers’ intellectual property and fighting counterfeits is a critical issue to CFDA, eBay and the fashion industry at large,” says Steven Kolb, CFDA’s CEO. “We continue to collaborate with eBay on this bold campaign to educate shoppers on the dangers of counterfeits, raise awareness of our mutual dedication to the fight against fakes and emphasize the importance of original design.”

All proceeds from the bags benefit the CFDA Foundation, which provides financial support for young designers in the high-school, collegiate, post-graduate, and early stages of their career.
