Event Ends: March 21, 2011

Steve Alan, Threadless, DNA Foundation, fashion philanthropy, eco-fashion contests

Freedom is a basic human right and slavery is one of the greatest threats to that freedom. The DNA Foundation is launching an awareness campaign called “Real Men Don’t Buy Girls” in order to educate people about the realities of child sex slavery and to create a cultural shift in our society around the buying and selling of humans, children in particular. You can help us bring sex slavery out of the shadows and into the spotlight by helping us spread the message that Real Men Don’t Buy Girls.

There will be two winning designs chosen. One will be available on Threadless, the other will be available at Steven Alan stores and 25 percent of each product sold will go to the DNA Foundation.

  • Round-trip airfare and two nights at the Tribeca Grand Hotel for each winning designer, and an invitation to the Real Men launch party to meet Ashton Kutcher, Demi Moore, and other supporters!
  • $3000 cash
  • $500 Threadless gift certificate
  • $2000 Steven Alan gift certificate
  • A styling session with the Steven Alan team prior to the launch party.
