The peaked shoulder pads may scream Rihanna, but the recycled video tape that gives this bolero-and-skirt ensemble its futuristic sheen is all Gaga. Designed by Kai Yeung Yau, a senior at the London College of Fashion, the outfit was created by weaving secondhand video tape into fabric. Here’s another reason for the Lady to go gaga: The pleats vary in height and width to mimic the different pitches and frequencies of music.
