Unless they’ve been slashed, hacked, or subverted beyond recognition, we’ve had a longstanding moratorium on T-shirts on Ecouterre. It’s not because we don’t wear T-shirts (we do) or that we’re snobs (maybe a little), but there simply isn’t enough bandwidth in the universe for every YAOT (that’s Yet Another Organic T-shirt) that leaps into view. But why make up rules for yourself if you can’t break them? We made an exception for Des Artistes, a greenhorn brand of green tees we crossed paths with at Designers & Agents this month.

Although not all of Des Artistes’ shirts have a charity component, proceeds from its collaboration with Ai will go to Doctors Without Borders.
