Do you want to be a fashion designer? This is your chance to break into the world of sustainable fashion design. Enter British Vogue‘s “Design a Dress” competition and, if you are chosen as the winner, the dress you design will be manufactured in a suitable sustainable fabric and sold alongside Matches’ own label, Freda, during the Spring/Summer 2012 season.

Design a dress out of used paper (newspaper might be the easiest choice), and submit a photograph of it to Facebook. Ask all your friends to vote for you as many times as they can between the December 1-7. The 10 dresses with the most votes will make up a shortlist to be published on during Online Fashion Week from December 5-9.

The judging panel includes Livia Firth, Ruth Chapman and the team from Matches, editor Dolly Jones, and sustainable fashion consultant Jocelyn Whipple.
