Gallery: 36 Eco-Fashion Predictions for 2016

GIUSY BETTONI (CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER, C.L.A.S.S.)

For C.L.A.S.S., 2015 has been a year full of innovations in terms of beautiful, performing and responsible materials dedicated to fashion.

Looking ahead to 2016, it will be surely keeping the pace! It's also very clear to C.L.A.S.S., however, that innovation can be effective only when it goes together with communication.

There are so many new values in innovative and responsible materials that need to be clearly defined, sometimes certified, and then communicated in new and appropriate ways—not just to members of trade but also to the contemporary consumer who is looking for "good values."

For C.L.A.S.S., the new opportunity and challenge is to support this new level of creativity, as well as facilitate communication among the myriad parts involved in fashion, such as design, production, and sales.

We confirm that the most important aspect for the next year is the process of sharing what we know and exchanging information across the textile fields, always with the objective to learn, share, and grow smarter business ideas that add value and beauty for the consumer.

This is one of the main reason why we have created the C.L.A.S.S. Education program, a key part of our plan, based on the purpose and commitment to better share knowledge with all the new upcoming designers and makers.

Our goal for 2016 is to share our smarts, grow our influence, and extend our reach to professionals everywhere looking to make a difference.

Are you ready? We are.
