INDUSTRIAL DESIGN

The name of Eko-Lab’s Autumn/Winter 2011 collection, as tongue-twisting as it is, perfectly encapsulates the mood and pathos of the ensuing garments. “The Lady in White Flees Across the Navy Yard and the Ink Follows” taps into the underbelly of the Brooklyn Navy Yard, an unlikely locale that the ethical fashion label now calls home.

“The Lady in White Flees Across the Navy Yard and the Ink Follows” taps into the underbelly of Eko-Lab’s new home.

Partnering once more with Emmy Award-winning artist Jennifer Wen Ma, Eko-Lab presents us with a landscape of organic cotton, organic wool, hemp, and angora, artfully dashed by bold brushstrokes of ink. As always, every piece is designed and produced in the United States and colored with low-impact and all-natural vegetable dyes.
