MANY HAPPY RETURNS

Estethica has come a long way since the British Fashion Council’s Anna Orsini and From Somewhere’s Orsola de Castro and Filippo Ricci founded it five years ago. Now an official fixture at London Fashion Week, the ethical platform brings together the myriad strands, brands, and individuals that make up the U.K. fashion movement. As the place to find the best ethical design talent, Estethica has become one of the busiest parts of London Fashion Week, attracting press and buyers from all over the world.

To toast Estethica’s milestone moment, the party organizers commissioned installations from Junky Styling, Christopher Raeburn, The North Cicular, Noki, and From Somewhere. Set to this colorful backdrop, the event provided an opportunity for the designers, writers, models, stylists, and publicists in attendance to both celebrate and reflect.

“The first time I attended Estethica, five years ago, I hugely applauded the effort more than the style,” Livia Firth, who co-hosted the party with British Fashion Council chairman Harold Tilman, told Ecouterre. “Today, I have wore so many of the Estethica’s designers in many occasions—including some red carpets—and I love them!”

With the speeches done with and the cake cut, all there was left to do was hit the dance floor.
