Looking for a pair of shoes to complete your creepy Halloween costume? Fantich and Young just carved their way into our darkest nightmares with a pair of black balmorals soled with toothy treads made from hundreds of fake human teeth. We think its “Apex Predator” shoes are just about the creepiest things we’ve seen on two heels, but hey, if you’re into sporting denture couture, it’s unlikely anyone will try to “bite” your style.

SHOES THAT BITE
Fantich and Young outfitted a pair of black Savile Row by Barker oxfords with 1,050 repurposed plastic dentures. Several gold caps add a touch of class to the ghastly shoes, which were designed as one-off art pieces or “totems.” “The idea for the shoes are based on Charles Darwin’s theory of evolution and natural selection and juxtaposing them with the supernatural elements of pagan rites and rituals,” the designers say.

Those undeterred from wearing human anatomy will be happy to know that Fantich and Young created a matching suit from human hair and glass eyes. To each his own, but we reserve the right to back away slowly from you on the subway.

This feels so wrong.
Aside from how stupid it looks, I can’t imagine walking in these things would be much better than walking on marbles. They would have no grip on smooth floors, and I can just see somebody wearing these constantly falling on their ass.
