How often has your backpack formed an essential part of your fashionable wardrobe? Never? That may change when you lay eyes on Annika Blomberg’s artistic Anschtecka backpacks, which she cleverly fashions from reclaimed materials. Blomberg clearly has an exquisite eye for color, which she uses to match salvaged fabrics with masterful aplomb. One carryall may feature vintage textiles paired with buttons found at a flea market in Berlin, whilst another may use pieces of a recycled umbrella. Because no two backpacks alike, you’ll be stepping out in original upcycled style come rain or shine.
