For International Women’s Day, a Look at Kenya’s Ethical Fashion Africa Project

Vivienne Westwood and Stella McCartney are among A-list designers to throw their weight behind Ethical Fashion Africa, a United Nations-sanctioned program that doles out key skills and fair wages to more than 7,000 disenfranchised women in Kenya and Uganda. Its slogan: “Not charity, just work.” In honor of International Women’s Day, took its camera behind the scenes to learn more about the initiative and, more important, the people involved in it.
