I am thankful for my loving husband. He who has walked many miles with me during the many trials that we have faced in our 13 years together. I wouldn’t be standing and breathing today if it were not for him. Eight years later, cancer free, I am a 12 year vegan veteran and there is still so much to learn.

I am thankful that I have a safe place to live with running water and electricity. I am thankful that I have a computer, a cell phone and the Internet. I am thankful that I had food to eat today and clean clothing to wear. I am thankful for the driver who let me into the lane of traffic when it was busy and for the stranger with kind eyes who shared a genuine smile and brightened my day.

I am so very thankful for first, how Jesus died on the cross for my sins. I am blessed everyday and I am so thankful that God provides for me everything that I ever need. I am thankful for the family God has given me. They are so supportive in everythingI do. My parents always provide me more than enough whenever I ask. I dont like it when my mom buys me things. I feel that she works so hard and she should just spend her money on herself. I am thankful for having loving parents whoare so generous not only to me, but also to the church. I am thankful for the vegan lifestyle I have been exposed to. I am thankful for my health and my family’s health. I am thankful that God had provided me scholarships for nursing school, because nursing is pretty expensive. I am also thankful for my little sister. She never ceases to put a smile on my face! I am thankful for the church family because they always know what to say to me when I’m feeling down and they are always fun to celebrate with. I am thankful for the shelters God provides for the needy. I am thankful that I have the oppurtunity to helpout at shelters during thanksgiving day and give food to those who cant afford a thanksgiving. I am thankful that I live in a house , that is not too big and not too small. I am thankful for the food that is provided for me everyday. I am thankful for the education that America has to offer. I am thankful for oppurtunities in school where I can raise my grade. I am thankful that I am not stuck with any mean professors. I am thankful for the warm blankets that keep me toasty during cold nights. I am thankful for having the ability to speak in front of the public and I am also thankful that I have the oppurtunity to teach the kids at my sabbath school. I am thankful for the oppurtunity to recycle. I am thankful for all the companies who take time and money to make eco friendly things. Lastly, I am thankful for this oppurtunity to realize what I am thankful for and I am also thankful that I might have a chance to win a Cruelty-free prize pack from Vegn Cuts. I am thankful for being to live my life the way I choose. My fiance, friends, family and even coworkers have gone above and beyond to support my change to the Vegan lifestyle. It truly has been an amazing experience.

I am thankful for my two parents and the body they gave me. My parents have been incredibly supportive of me and for that I cannot thank them enough. I am thankful for my body, which I am just now discovering is actually quite athletic, and I am glad that it continues to stay healthy as I grow older.

In addition to being very thankful for my family, I am thankful for two new coworkers.

I am thankful for the local farmers who grow the fabulous organic meat and produce that me and my family are learning to make the central focus of our diet. I am also extremely thankful for the health benefits that we are realizing by doing so. Just this morning, my eighteen year old son (who has been the hardest to sell on going organic and healthy) told me that it just tastes a lot BETTER–and it does!
