If you weren’t able to attend this year’s Global Green USA fundraiser and celebration in San Francisco, don’t fret because we’ve got you covered. This year’s green-spectacular undoubtedly eclipsed the last, including the additions of an incredible eco-fashion show, a showcase of Sage Vaughn’s artwork, and a living wall exhibit by Design Ecology featuring a native California butterfly habitat. With all of this on top of the charitable green initiatives by Global Green, we couldn’t think of a more fabulous and fitting way to push fashion-forward and socially responsible design.

GORGEOUSLY GREEN
Global Green co-chairs Zem Joaquin and Nadine Weil, along with President Matt Petersen, spoke on behalf of Global Green’s many green initiatives, as well as actor Peter Mensah and model-entrepreneur Josie Maran, who introduced the show and graced us with their celebrity style.

RUNWAY READY
The fashion show began with Yves Behar’s fabulous eco PACT organic cotton underwear and accessory pieces, like hats by Livity Outernational made out of raffia straw. A sustainably harvested wool sweater by Nina Skarra accented a fine pair of organic cotton undies, along with an organic cotton jacket by Mr. Larkin. Other favorites by Mr. Larkin include the organic knit lace dress (worn by Maran) herself and a beautiful crème milk fiber gown with gold accents.
