Gallery: Help Manufacture NY Bring Garment Jobs Back to the U.S.A.

Brooklyn Royalty designer Bob Bland has one lofty goal: to unite fashion design and production under a single roof, right here in the United States. To that end, she founded Manufacture NY, a first-of-its-kind incubator-cum-factory that will provide the necessary resources and expertise for designers to conceive, develop, and manufacture their own lines in situ. Now 60 members strong, the growing community has its eye on the up-and-coming neighborhood of Industry City in Sunset Park, Brooklyn. Rent money doesn't grow on trees, however.
