Due to the limited nature of H&M’s “Waste” mini-collection, it will only be available at one store per country, and that’s excluding China, Turkey, Russia, Israel, and the entire Middle East. For Americans, the 10-piece range will hold court at the retailer’s New York City flagship store, on 51st St. and Fifth Ave., from the first week of February.

While I’m glad to see that they are atoning for their sins with this collection, having it available in only a few pieces scattered about the globe certainly doesn’t change my view of their wasteful business practices. Hopefully, they can incorporate the knowledge gained from creating this line and employ it more widely to create real sustainable fashion practices.
