Lend a hand to the Big Apple you know and love by purchasing one of Sebastian Errazuriz’s Hurricane Sandy relief T-shirts. Inspired by the water lines on the walls of the galleries in Manhattan’s Chelsea art district, the Chilean transplant transformed two tourist staples—Milton Glasser’s “I Love NY” logo and the Metropolitan Transit Authority subway map—by dip-dyeing them, 1970s style, in indigo ink. The arresting result reveals a city divided between those who have electricity and those still in the dark. All proceeds will go towards helping victims of the disaster.
