We’re tickled pink to introduce “Styled by Emma,” a new weekly advice column by the inimitable Emma Grady. A stylist in New York City, where she lives, Emma is also TreeHugger’s resident eco-fashion guru and publisher of Past Fashion Future, a blog that covers the sartorial green scene with aplomb. Like the all-knowing girlfriend/big sister/personal shopper we wish we had, Emma is devoted to helping you navigate the eco-glamorous life. Need help deciding what goes with your red vegan stilettos? Where you can find green fashion for less? Or which boutiques keep a stash of eco-friendly wedding gowns? If you have questions, Emma has answers. Dash us a comment below to get started.

Yay! Emma, my favorite jeans are no longer made and the inner thigh/crotch area seams have worn a hole in them. Is there any service that can make them new again? I hate to think of an otherwise perfect pair of jeans being garbage because of a hole in the crotch but I realize that may be the sad reality.

Also, I usually invest in Wolford tights because they last longer and I figure, therefore, are greener. Is there any truly eco-friendly, option for sleek, opaque black tights?

    This is really exciting!
Emma – any idea where I could find stylin’ vegan and sustainable shoes in a size five? Most vegan shoe companies start with a size six.
