Your vagina needs a workout just as much as the rest of your body, but remembering to do your Kegels and doing them correctly is an entirely different matter. Enter the KGoal, a small device that measures the strength of your pelvic floor muscles and gives you real-time feedback on your workouts through tactile feedback, vibration and a smart phone app. Created by San Francisco-based Minna Life, who develops high quality sexual health products, the kGoal helps woman improve their pelvic floor strength for better bladder control, to recover from pregnancy, to help support the abdomen and pelvis and most importantly, to enhance your sex life.

KGoal is an insertable device that is made up of two parts – a squeezable pillow and an arm that helps the device stay in place. The squeezable pillow is inserted into the vagina and conforms to every woman’s anatomy. The arm features the interface with a light, on/off button and the charging plug. Contract your pelvic floor muscles and the device will display how strong a contraction, your reps and tracks your progress. A vibrational motor in the device is supposed to give you biofeedback. Splash proof for easy cleaning, the KGoal is made of Class VI medical grade silicone that is 100% phthalate free.

To make KGoal, Minna Life worked in collaboration with pelvic floor physical therapist, Liz Miracle, who runs her own pelvic floor physical therapy practice and is also an Assistant Clinical Professor at the University of California San Francisco School of Physical Therapy. Miracle found that many of her patients did not do their Kegel Exercises because they found them boring and didn’t know if they were doing them correctly. These exercises are important for all women to support and maintain the health of their sexual organs, bladder and reduce pain.
