Designer Nicole Miller may prefer domestic production over outsourcing, but that doesn't mean she's opposed to the occasional trip abroad. Her latest excursion takes her to Rwanda, where she co-created a line of clothing and accessories with the nonprofit Indego Africa. Saturated in eye-popping prints and colors, each hand-crafted piece is a testament to the women artisans' cultural heritage. Plus, proceeds from each sale is funneled back into entrepreneurship, literacy, and technology training for members of Indego's Covanya and Cocoki partner co-ops.
