OHIO EVENT: Sustainable Fashion: Exploring the Paradox

Event Starts: April 18, 2011
Event Ends: March 18, 2012

Kent State University Museum in Ohio is launching an exhibit, “Sustainable Fashion: Exploring the Pardox,” about the fashion industry’s collision with sustainability.  Clothes have a lifelong footprint which includes production, retail, maintenance, and finally disposal. This exhibit, guest-curated by Noël Palomo-Lovinski, explores ways in which designers can accomplish style without sacrificing the environment along the way. The goal is for visitors to reevaluate their fashion choices through an environmental lens.
