Unlike most designers, who wait till after the models have made their rounds on the runway before revealing themselves, Williams stood front and center among the looks he helped create. Framed by ghostly underwater projections on the walls and ceiling, and clad in head-to-toe Raw for the Oceans, the Happy hitmaker was the very picture of the label’s “Happy Oceans, Happy Life” ethos.
So why denim? “Denim is one of the most cherished fabrics on Earth—and one of the most traditional,” Williams said. “With Raw for the Oceans, we have created the next generation.”
