PLAY IT COOL

Popomomo (that stands for “post-post-modern movement,” in case you were wondering) debuted its latest eco-fashion collection to delighted onlookers at the Green Shows during New York Fashion Week. Popomomo’s eco-friendly “City of Quartz” collection was a visual feast that brought together quartz crystals, polar ice caps, and mathematical precision to produce one of the smartest lines (both aesthetically and intellectually) we’ve seen to date.

Designer Lizz Wasserman surprised attendees with a collection that was refreshingly innovative and simultaneously very wearable, featuring architecturally constructed dresses and separates with unusual details such as futuristic-looking tie dye, cut outs, and eye-poppingly bright zippers. We were also smitten with Lauren Manoogian’s jewelry, handmade from paperclips and tape, that Popomomo feted with its pieces.
