Quirky’s Conductive Push Pins Make Any Glove Touchscreen-Compatible

Sure, you could splash out a wad of cash on touchscreen-compatible “texting gloves.” Or you could spend less than 10 bucks to convert a pair of mitts you already own. A crowdsourced design from Quirky, each “Digit” consists of a conductive silicone pad and a post with a metal pin on its back. To convert an existing glove, simply place the pin end of a Digit inside the fingertip, push through the fabric, then slide the pad onto the post from the other side. A pack comes with four Digits, which means you can outfit four fingers on one set of gloves or two fingers on two pairs. Prefer to make your own? We’ve got a DIY tutorial for that, too.

+ Digits $9.99 (on sale from $11.99) at ThinkGeek
