Avast! Lisa Williams made these recycled denim mocs for pirates-in-training completely by hand. She cut the Jolly Roger motif from lush white felt, then hand-basted it onto the body of the shoe—which Williams, in turn, blanket-stitched with white embroidery floss. Lined with denim-colored wool-blend felt that is super-soft on baby’s feet, the booties are warm, durable, and pillage-ready. “I can cut 15 pairs of shoes from one pair of jeans,” Williams says.
