Feeling a need for speed? Get a danger-free rush from Regenesi’s recent collaboration with Dainese, an Italian firm that specializes in protective motorcycling gear. Unveiled at Salone Internazionale del Mobile furniture fair in April, the dual effort comprises a range of multihued accessories, from key rings to iPad sleeves, crafted from leather suits once worn by world-famous racers. The ability to exploit waste as a raw material is something that brings Regenesi and Dainese’s core values together, according to designer Marco Ferreri. Though small, the objects are imbued with “great history,” he adds.
