It’s tough to be a nail-polish addict and an eco-friendly consumer, but Sheswai, a line of tip tints by former nail stylist Debbie Leavitt, makes it less of a chore. Ranging from sheer and subtle to bright and eye-catching, the colors are across-the-board gorgeous. Instead of the usual plastic topper, the bottle caps are made from sustainably harvested wood, grown on family-owned tree farms. The best part, however, is what’s missing. Each formula is free of toxic ingredients such as formaldehyde, toluene, and dibutyl phthalate. Another bonus: A portion of the proceeds benefits environmental nonprofits.
