Snoozer Loser Offers Brightly Hand-Printed Linen Frocks in Natural Dyes

Fancy meets function this fall with Snoozer Loser’s charming lineup of dresses, tunics, and trapeze tops, which the New York label hand-screens on 100 percent eco-linen using water-based inks. Inspired by designer Sonia Tay’s recent travels in Shanghai, the collection is a spirited pastiche of paper fans, mini-birdcages, Nordic deer, and wooly mammoths. More than whimsy? The pieces are also cut to “free-size,” a flattering fit for all shapes and sizes. “These pieces are meant to be worn to death,” Tay tells Ecoutere. “They can be worn to Sunday brunches, as well as walks in the farmers’ market. That is what I feel is the most green to me. Clothing that you can really live in.”
