Livia Firth wasn’t the only celeb spouse with eco-fashion on her mind this Oscar season. Suzy Amis Cameron, wife of mega-director James, announced the winner of this year’s Red Carpet Green Dress competition at Global Green U.S.A.’s 8th Annual Pre-Oscar bash on Thursday. Although Cameron didn’t don the pink, goddess-worthy gown herself—she wore a plant-dyed peace-silk number by Prophetik, instead—she did present British designer Samata Angel with the award on stage, while obliging in many a photo op with the model wearing the winning dress. The sensationally sheer gown was crafted from sustainable textiles, including organic hemp-silk and silk chiffon, as well as recycled beads from Angel’s old necklaces and her Mom’s old belt buckle.
