“There are many textile and fiber focused magazines in the world, but we’re motivated to make one that highlights the contemporary state of the industry and sheds light on innovative work being made near and far,” writes Owyn Ruck, co-founder and director of the Textile Arts Center, on IndieGoGo, where a campaign is now underway to amass an initial round of funding to get the first issue off the ground.

A one-year subscription is $45 for U.S. subscribers, shipping included.

“By helping to make TAC a reality, you’ll be part of a larger network of makers, designers, and artists who want access to this information, no matter where you live,” she adds.

A one-year subscription is $45 for U.S. subscribers, shipping included, and $60 for international ones. Want to take your commitment up a notch? For $200, Ruck and company will bundle an annual subscription with a ticket to the Textile Arts Center fall gala.
