The Force is strong in these Star Wars shoes by Olsenhaus, a New York City-based footwear company that considers animal cruelty anathema to “true style.” Ethically made in Mexico from vegan-friendly composite rubber, faux suede, and cotton, the limited-edition collection features a ballet-style flat and two pumps in prints inspired by the movie franchise. Elizabeth Olsen (no relation to the actress) founded Olsenhaus in 2008 to show how easy it is to live a “compassionate lifestyle without sacrific[ing] luxury or style.” Her larger goal? To help move humanity toward a “higher state of consciousness.” Sounds pretty Jedi-like to us.
