TOMS No Longer Just a Shoe Company, Hints at “One for One” Future

TOMS is expanding beyond shoes, that much is clear. But the details of the social enterprise’s next chapter—its official Twitter hashtag is, in actual fact, #tomsnextchapter—are shrouded in more mystery than the Bermuda Triangle, Loch Ness Monster, and President Obama’s birth certificate combined. In the video above, Blake Mycoskie, TOMS’ founder and “chief shoe giver,” carts around a 10-foot shipping tube. Its contents and the future of TOMS, Mycoskie teases, will be revealed on June 7, but in keeping with the company’s “one for one” philosophy, it’s set to break new ground.
