Miss Piggy and Kermit the Frog might be tying the knot, again. Like a barnyard Liz and Dick, the on-again, off-again couple have been married before—at least twice on The Muppet Show and once in The Muppets Take Manhattan—although the legality of those unions is debatable at best. For her latest foray down the aisle, Miss Piggy went whole hog, hiring no less than Vivienne Westwood to design her wedding gown. “Vivienne Westwood is fabulous—just like moi,” says Miss Piggy in a statement from Disney. “When I asked her to design this wedding dress for moi’s new movie Muppets Most Wanted, she was thrilled and I was thrilled. The only one a bit ‘iffy’ about it was the Frog.”
HERE COMES THE BRIDE
The dress, a couture ivory gown inspired by the court of King Charles II, features corset detailing and a white pearl sequin fabric derived from recycled plastic bottles. An ivory tulle veil completes the look.

Matrimonial trappings aside, one question remains: Will Kermit get over his cold feet and finally make an honest sow out of her? “You’ll have to see the movie to find out,” Miss Piggy teased.
Muppets Most Wanted, which also stars Tina Fey, Ty Burrell, and Ricky Gervais, opens in theaters March 21.
