The Ecouterre team a.k.a. “the Ecouterrorists”
Last Thursday, we celebrated the launch of Ecouterre with an official kickoff party, and what a soirée it was! It seemed only fitting to hold the bash at one of our favorite eco-fashion boutiques, KAIGHT, and the evening was filled with yummy libations, tasty treats, lively conversation and, of course, beautifully and sustainably designed clothing and accessories. Read on to get the scoop on all of the highlights of the night as well as all of the notable Ecouterrans who came out for our inaugural fete!

Chic, green fashion aficionados from L.A. to Cincinnati to Milan filled KAIGHT’s sustainably stocked store, pausing their lively conversations only for quick mouthfuls of luscious and fruity vegan cookies by Rabbit Mafia and sips of free-flowing huckleberry vodka courtesy of 44 North.
We were extremely excited to see some of our favorite design and eco-fashion peeps, including Emma Grady from Treehugger, designer Meiling Chen, Glen Jackson Taylor from Core77, Nicole Lenzen of Tigresse, Tara St. James of Study and The Square Project, Brian Clark Howard from The Daily Green, Marissa Feinberg from Green Spaces, and according to one report, Marc Jacobs’ assistant.
The din died down when Ecouterre founder and editor-in-chief Jill Fehrenbacher announced the winner of the Andean Collection’s striking burnt-red Circle Cascade necklace, which everyone had ogled all night, but it started right back up again soon enough—only our winner was speechless!

When the night finally wound down, we realized how much of a milestone this was for us. Thank you so much for celebrating our launch with us—we couldn’t have done it without you. This was Ecouterre’s first event, but it certainly won’t be our last, so if you missed this one, just keep your eyes peeled!
