Every time I eat, I make an ethical decision rooted in my love for animals. And I talk about it, even when it makes people uncomfortable. Also, I bake cupcakes. We all know — even omnivores know — that killing is wrong. But sometimes folks need cupcakes to be convinced that giving up animal cruelty isn’t a sacrifice — it’s a joy.

I (gently) try to help all of my loved ones move towards a vegan diet. Even if I have to use the weight loss as motivation lol! I also do volunteer work for Farm Sanctuary, and 10 Billion Lives. Everything and anything I can do to help my furry friends, I do!

    Thanks, loves!!

  3. SuS says:

I want to win this. I am a consultant to animal rights organizations, so you know I can’t afford Vaute Couture on what I get paid.

  4. sam adams says:

I work for a nonprofit health organization that promotes higher standards for ethics and effectiveness in medical/chemical/cosmetic research and training. We run campaigns such as intervening with the Taiwanese government to inject beagle puppies with a lethal strain of rabies to test for a vaccine (which we have proven is entirely unnecessary) and stopping doctors at Texas A&M University from poisoning baby lambs with high doses of alcohol to study its effects – to name just two of many projects.
    I <3 Animals.

  5. aregev says:

I create awareness via social media and real live assembly/protest to create to educate my peers and the general public about carnism, speciesim and and the cruelty of torturing, slaughtering, confining and exploiting sentient beings.

  6. violettfem says:

I do what I can as I am partially homebound. I donate, I advocate with friends and family and social media and I sign and share AR petitions on social media.

  7. toschie says:

I have loved animals ever since I was very small. I am all for animal rights, humans tend to forget we are primates and somehow believe we are “better” than all the other species on this planet. I beg to differ. Animals should have the same right to live without being exploited for humans. I do everything in my power to educate people. It can be frustrating at times, but if I can change one person’s mind then I did my job.

  8. krisrose3 says:

I don’t buy products that are tested on Animals. I am raising my family in a house that respects animals and we donate what we can to the local animal shelter. I make my own bath products and cleaning products that are not toxic to animals.

  9. chrissy says:

I hope this still works. The article says the deadline is May 20, but I’ll try anyway.

I love animals and rescued both of my two pets. I also write animal rights articles and petitions for several green websites. I already own a Vaute tank top (with chicks) and lovely pink coat, and would really get a kick out of this subscription. Keep up the great work!

  10. stephaniec says:

I follow a vegan & cruelty-free lifestyle & advocate to others by answering questions & sharing my experiences as a vegan. I also do my best to show others how veganism can be easy, healthy, & affordable, & encourage every step, however small, in reducing cruelty to animals.

    Thanks for the giveaway!

  11. raaaaachel says:

i’m vegan, so i usually bring vegan food to family gatherings to share. i also refuse to purchase from companies that test/use animal products and buy second hand :)

  12. leslierichman says:

I make my life as cruelty-free as possible. We eat vegan and donate to several different animal sanctuaries and rescue organizations. It feels good to help!

  13. truc says:

I’ve taken a number of my friends to animal sanctuaries such as Farm Sanctuary. I’ve found that seeing the animals living their lives freely and happily – particularly animals like turkeys and chickens that get a bad rap as stupid – makes a huge difference on a personal level.

  14. jw says:

I am supporting my wife who has become vegan, and I have recently gone vegetarian.

  15. jaclynfett says:

We are vegetarians and don’t wear animal products.

  16. gelatinoussugar says:

I eat a (mostly) vegan diet, so I try to do my part!

  17. carina4 says:

I eat primarily vegan diet and support anti-GMO and save the pollinators campaigns. I choose with my conscience and wallet when it comes to food, home and personal care products and I support animal rescue and animal rights organizations.

  18. jenna says:

I don’t buy anything unless I know where it comes from and how it’s made. The meat and seafood I eat are hunted and caught myself. I don’t have any new clothes because ethical clothes are so expensive, I have to go to the thrift store to make sure I’m not directly supporting the wrong systems. It would be so nice to have a few new clothes :)

  19. jiahui7 says:

I stand up for animal rights by doing my best to enlighten my peers in a nice way. I especially connect to my friends in my club at school!

  20. jenni_froedrick says:

we do try to eat a mostly vegan diet, and have adopted only rescue animals as pets.

  21. Sunnymay says:

The Vegan T-Shirt Club looks like a great idea for those who support being cruelty-free. I’ve been to a few potlucks for raw vegans and the food is mighty tasty especially the chocolate mousse made with avocado.

  22. xlisax says:

I don’t kill any animals; meaning I eat only vegan food, and I don’t wear leather, etc. I try to have a very positive attitude and give a good example to others without yelling at them, so they are inspired to go vegan. I take place in demos when I feel they are appropriate, and I sign petitions and donate money to causes that directly save lives.

  23. sarahrae55 says:

I follow a vegetarian lifestyle and try to live as sustainably as I can because everything is connected. Every consumer item we purchase has an environmental footprint and I’ve focused on limiting plastic pollution through community outreach and legislative action.

  24. angevege222 says:

I stand up for animal rights by making conscious vegan lifestyle choices every day. I am also actively involved with changing legislation to expand the legal rights granted to farm and companion animals, as well as those who are exploited in laboratories.

  25. autumnl says:

When there is a lost, missing or hurt animal in my neighborhood I am the one that is called upon. If it is a crow that can’t seem to fly, a rouge duck escaped from it’s family home, baby pigeons that need a loving mommy, or a dog intent on running into the busiest street; I am never too busy. Caring for animals is not just something I talk about, it is something I do at all times, it is who I truly am. This philosophy extends to all animals regardless of ever seeing their face. I feel that I have a genuine impact on those around my by living my life in a way that respects all animals. There is nothing better than when a child looks at you and says “I don’t want to eat animals either”.

  26. ace1987 says:

Every living thing is equal, I think everything deserves to live a happy enjoyable life. Free to love and to feel love, peace! I don’t do anything special for animals or work for any rights movements or anything just really dig peace. <3

  27. scottiejhill says:

When I’m the only vegan at the table, I’m never pushy, but when asked I talk about how much better I feel on a vegan diet. It’s been very effective!
