I have always been a lover of our planet and have incorporated eco concious choices into my everyday life. I recycle everything, compost my disposables, and even started a recycling program in my office. This year I knew I needed to do more, not only for our planet but for myself. This year (for my 25th birthday on April 20 and Earth Day on April 22) I chose to become a vegetarian. I feel overcome with joy in this decision and know it will be a lifelong commitment :)

We are going car free for this year. We started in January and are still car free. With reusable bags, local markets, and homemade goodness, we are reducing our contribution to unsustainable products, packaging and transport. I think every dollar spent is a vote for the world we want to live in, so we are very picky about who we buy from and where those products come from. Less meat and only sustainable leather play a big role in our reduction of env impacts. With temps warming, the garden is getting ready for spring! Thanks for all you do Ecouterre!
